Curried Rice Croquettes
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 1/4 tsp curry powder
- Few drops onion juice
- Salt to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
Method
- 1 Heat milk and butter in a saucepan until boiling.
- 2 Stir in cooked rice, curry powder, onion juice, and salt. Boil briefly.
- 3 Remove from heat, stir in beaten egg, and mix well.
- 4 Spread mixture to cool completely, then shape into cylinders.
- 5 Fry croquettes in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
