Curried Cold Meat Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold meat, sliced or diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup water or coconut milk
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Method

  1. 1 Fry chopped onions and curry powder together in a pan until nicely browned.
  2. 2 Stir in flour to thicken, similar to making a gravy base.
  3. 3 Gradually add water or coconut milk, stirring until the gravy thickens.
  4. 4 Add the cold meat and simmer slowly for a few minutes to heat through.
  5. 5 Stir in Worcestershire sauce for extra flavor before serving.
