Curried Chicken And Onion Salad
Ingredients
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cooked chicken legs, meat diced
- 1 tsp curry powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tbsp milk or cream
- optional: celery salt, lemon juice
Method
- 1 Fry the minced onion in butter until lightly browned.
- 2 Dice the meat from the cooked chicken legs and mix with the onions. Stir over heat until meat is hot.
- 3 Sprinkle curry powder and salt over the mixture. Stir to combine thoroughly.
- 4 Pour in milk or cream. Stir over heat until the liquid has dried up.
- 5 Finish with celery salt or a few drops of lemon juice if desired.
