Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb beef or mutton, cut into small bits
  • Onions, chopped
  • Curry powder
  • 1 cup split peas, soaked for several hours
  • Water
  • Rice, for serving

Method

  1. 1 Cut beef or mutton into small bits and fry with onions and curry powder until nicely browned.
  2. 2 Add soaked split peas and plenty of water. Simmer until meat and peas are tender.
  3. 3 Serve the curry over rice.
