Curried Beef And Split Pea Stew
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb beef or mutton, cut into small bits
- Onions, chopped
- Curry powder
- 1 cup split peas, soaked for several hours
- Water
- Rice, for serving
Method
- 1 Cut beef or mutton into small bits and fry with onions and curry powder until nicely browned.
- 2 Add soaked split peas and plenty of water. Simmer until meat and peas are tender.
- 3 Serve the curry over rice.
