  • 1 lb roast beef, sliced thin
  • 3 onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Boiling water
  • ½ cup tomatoes
  • ½ cup mushrooms, chopped
  • Capers
  • Flour
  • Cold stock or water
  • Curry powder

Method

  1. 1 Place sliced roast beef and onions in a stewpan. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. 2 Cover with boiling water and simmer until the meat is very tender.
  3. 3 Add tomatoes, chopped mushrooms, and capers to the pot.
