  • 4 oz all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 pint milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 oz currants
  • Sugar and cinnamon to taste
  • Butter for frying

Method

  1. 1 Pick and wash the currants, then set aside.
  2. 2 Whisk flour, milk, eggs, sugar, and cinnamon to make a smooth batter.
  3. 3 Fold the currants into the batter.
  4. 4 Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. 5 Pour batter to form thin pancakes and fry until golden on both sides.
