Crystallized Ginger Stuffed Figs
Ingredients
- dried figs
- 1/4 cup fig pulp
- 1/4 cup finely chopped crystallized ginger
- 1 tsp grated orange or lemon rind
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Method
- 1 Cut a slit in the side of dried figs and remove some pulp with a teaspoon.
- 2 Mix the removed pulp with crystallized ginger, citrus rind, and lemon juice.
- 3 Fill the figs with the mixture, stuffing them until they look plump.
