Crystallized Ginger Stuffed Figs

Ingredients

  • dried figs
  • 1/4 cup fig pulp
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped crystallized ginger
  • 1 tsp grated orange or lemon rind
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method

  1. 1 Cut a slit in the side of dried figs and remove some pulp with a teaspoon.
  2. 2 Mix the removed pulp with crystallized ginger, citrus rind, and lemon juice.
  3. 3 Fill the figs with the mixture, stuffing them until they look plump.
