Crispy Fried Smelts With Melted Butter
Ingredients
- Smelts
- Egg
- Bread-crumbs
- Parsley
- Hot fat for frying
- Melted butter or suitable sauce
Method
- 1 Dry the smelts well and fix their tails in their mouths.
- 2 Cover the smelts with egg and bread-crumbs.
- 3 Fry them in hot fat until golden brown.
- 4 Garnish with fried parsley and serve with melted butter or sauce.
