  • plaice fillets
  • eggs
  • bread crumbs
  • hot fat for frying
  • fried parsley for garnish

Method

  1. 1 Fillet the plaice by cutting down the center and removing flesh from both sides.
  2. 2 Dip fillets in beaten egg, then coat thoroughly with bread crumbs.
  3. 3 Fry in hot fat until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. 4 Drain on kitchen paper, serve on a napkin, and garnish with fried parsley.
