Crispy Fried Parsley Garnish
Ingredients
- 1 bunch parsley
- Crisco or vegetable oil for frying
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Wash, pick, and thoroughly dry the parsley.
- 2 Heat oil in a deep fryer or pot to 375°F (350°F for moderate oven equivalent).
- 3 Place parsley in a frying basket and immerse in hot oil for 15 seconds until crisp.
- 4 Drain immediately and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
