Crispy Fried Lobster With Horseradish Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 boiled lobster
  • Crisco for frying
  • 1 egg
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup thick cream
  • Salt and paprika to taste
  • 2 tablespoons grated horseradish

Method

  1. 1 Cut lobster meat into neat pieces.
  2. 2 Dip pieces in beaten egg, then toss in breadcrumbs.
  3. 3 Fry in hot Crisco until well browned.
  4. 4 Whip cream, season with salt and paprika, and stir in horseradish.
  5. 5 Heap sauce in center of serving dish and arrange fried lobster around it. Serve hot.
