Crispy Fried Bananas With Lemon

  • salt
  • flour
  • oil or butter
  • egg
  • seasoned breadcrumbs
  • lemon juice

Method

  1. 1 Peel bananas and slice lengthwise. Season with salt and dredge with flour.
  2. 2 Alternatively, cut bananas in half crosswise. Dip in beaten egg and coat with seasoned breadcrumbs.
  3. 3 Place prepared bananas on ice for two hours to firm up.
  4. 4 Fry in deep fat, oil, or butter until golden brown.
