Crispy Deep Fried Potato Julienne
Ingredients
- potatoes, peeled and sliced
- cold water
- salt
- deep fat for frying
Method
- 1 Cut peeled and sliced potatoes into thin match-like shreds.
- 2 Soak the shreds in cold water for an hour, then drain and dry thoroughly.
- 3 Fry in deep fat using a frying-basket until crisp.
- 4 Sprinkle with salt and serve immediately.
