Crispy Breaded Oysters With Tyrolienne Sauce
Ingredients
- selected oysters
- salt and pepper
- flour
- egg
- cracker or stale bread crumbs
- deep fat for frying
- brown paper for draining
- parsley for garnish
- Sauce Tyrolienne (optional)
Method
- 1 Clean and dry the selected oysters thoroughly between towels.
- 2 Season the oysters with salt and pepper, then dip them in flour.
- 3 Dip the floured oysters in beaten egg, then coat with cracker or stale bread crumbs.
- 4 Fry the oysters in deep fat until golden brown.
- 5 Drain on brown paper, serve on a folded napkin, and garnish with parsley.
