Crispy Bacon And Cauliflower Salad
Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower, cooked and separated into florets
- 4 slices bacon, shredded
- 2 tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Cook cauliflower until tender, then separate into florets and let cool.
- 2 Fry shredded bacon in a skillet until crisp. Drain on paper towels.
- 3 In the skillet with bacon fat, whisk together vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper to make a dressing.
- 4 Pour the hot dressing over the cauliflower and bacon. Toss to combine.
- 5 Let the salad cool to room temperature before serving.
