Crisco Gem Muffins
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons Crisco
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 1/2 cups sifted flour
Method
- 1 Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together.
- 2 Cream Crisco and sugar, add well-beaten egg, then milk and flour mixture.
- 3 Divide into greased and floured gem pans.
- 4 Bake for 25 minutes in a hot oven (425°F).
