  • 2 tablespoons Crisco
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder

Method

  1. 1 Cream Crisco and sugar together, then add beaten eggs and milk.
  2. 2 Sift flour, cornmeal, salt, and baking powder together three times.
