  • 1 baker's loaf of bread
  • Oysters, for frying
  • Tomato catsup
  • Pickles, sliced

Method

  1. 1 Cut the top off the bread loaf and scoop out the crumb to create a hollow shell.
  2. 2 Toast or fry the bread shell and lid until golden.
  3. 3 Fry the oysters until crispy.
  4. 4 Fill the bread shell with fried oysters, tomato catsup, and sliced pickles.
  5. 5 Place the lid on top, reheat briefly, and serve very hot.
