Creole Oyster Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 baker's loaf of bread
- Oysters, for frying
- Tomato catsup
- Pickles, sliced
Method
- 1 Cut the top off the bread loaf and scoop out the crumb to create a hollow shell.
- 2 Toast or fry the bread shell and lid until golden.
- 3 Fry the oysters until crispy.
- 4 Fill the bread shell with fried oysters, tomato catsup, and sliced pickles.
- 5 Place the lid on top, reheat briefly, and serve very hot.
