Creamy White Celery Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 heads white celery
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 ounce butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 cup cream
Method
- 1 Pick, wash, and cut the celery into 1-inch pieces.
- 2 Stew the celery in water and salt until tender.
- 3 Roll butter and flour together to form a paste.
- 4 Add the paste to cream and bring to a boil.
