Creamy Wheatmeal Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pints milk
- 4 oz Allinson fine wheatmeal
- 1 oz butter
- Jam or golden syrup, for serving
Method
- 1 Bring the milk to a boil in a saucepan.
- 2 Gradually sift in the wheatmeal while stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- 3 Cook for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring quickly until the mixture forms a stiff batter.
- 4 Turn the pudding into a serving dish, add the butter, and serve with jam or golden syrup.
