Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups tapioca
  • 2 quarts water
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lump butter
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 pint hot milk

Method

  1. 1 Boil tapioca in water and season with salt and pepper.
  2. 2 Place butter and egg yolks in the bottom of a tureen.
  3. 3 Pour the boiling tapioca mixture over the butter and yolks.
  4. 4 Add hot milk and serve immediately.
