Creamy Stewed Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 8-9 large potatoes
  • salt
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1/8 tsp grated nutmeg
  • 1 cup cream

Method

  1. 1 Boil potatoes with salt until tender, then peel and slice them.
  2. 2 Melt butter in a stewpan, whisk in flour, salt, and nutmeg.
  3. 3 Stir in cream and bring to a boil.
  4. 4 Add sliced potatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.
