Creamy Stewed Potatoes
Ingredients
- 8-9 large potatoes
- salt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1/8 tsp grated nutmeg
- 1 cup cream
Method
- 1 Boil potatoes with salt until tender, then peel and slice them.
- 2 Melt butter in a stewpan, whisk in flour, salt, and nutmeg.
- 3 Stir in cream and bring to a boil.
- 4 Add sliced potatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.
