Creamy Stewed Chicken Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 chicken, cleaned and cut
- water
- 2 sprigs parsley
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 small onion
- salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup cream
- blended flour
Method
- 1 Place chicken in a pot with water, parsley, bay leaf, and onion. Simmer until almost done.
- 2 Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 3 Transfer chicken to a serving dish.
- 4 Stir cream into the gravy, thicken with blended flour, and strain over the chicken.
