Creamy Slow Cooked Rye Mush
Ingredients
- 1 quart boiling water
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 tbsp rye meal
Method
- 1 Sprinkle rye meal into boiling water while stirring constantly.
- 2 Add salt and bring to a boil once more.
- 3 Cover and cook slowly in a double boiler for 1.5 hours.
- 4 Serve with sugar and cream.
