Creamy Simmered Oysters On Toast
Ingredients
- 1 dozen oysters, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon cracker dust
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Toast slices, buttered
Method
- 1 Combine chopped oysters, cracker dust, butter, and milk in a saucepan.
- 2 Season with salt and pepper, then simmer for a few minutes.
- 3 Pour the mixture over buttered toast and serve immediately.
