Creamy Rice Pudding With Nutmeg
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rice
- Water
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Butter
- Sugar
- Nutmeg
- Raspberry marmalade (optional)
- Wine (optional)
Method
- 1 Boil rice in water until tender, then drain.
- 2 Add milk and beaten eggs to the rice.
- 3 Boil the mixture for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- 4 Serve hot with butter, sugar, and nutmeg.
- 5 Alternatively, cool in molds, turn out, and serve with raspberry marmalade or wine-sweetened milk.
