Creamy Potato Onion Soup With Egg
Ingredients
- 4 cups diced potatoes
- 1 medium onion
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 quart milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- salt and pepper
- parsley
Method
- 1 Boil potatoes and onion in a small amount of water until soft.
- 2 Add milk, salt, and pepper, then reheat.
- 3 Brown flour in butter and blend slowly into the potato mixture.
- 4 Add a little water to the beaten egg and stir into the soup.
- 5 Cook for a few minutes and serve with chopped parsley.
