Creamy Potato And Rice Soup
Ingredients
- 1 gallon water
- 6 large potatoes, chopped fine
- ¾ cup rice
- 1 egg-sized pat of butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ¾ cup sweet cream
Method
- 1 Add chopped potatoes, rice, and butter to a gallon of water in a large pot.
- 2 Work the butter and flour together to form a paste, then add to the pot.
- 3 Boil the mixture for one hour.
- 4 Just before removing from heat, stir in the sweet cream.
