Creamy Polenta
Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups cold water
- 3 cups boiling water
Method
- 1 Mix the cornmeal, salt, and cold water in a bowl until smooth.
- 2 Pour the mixture into boiling water, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
- 3 Cook over medium heat, stirring often, until the mixture thickens.
- 4 Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes.
- 5 Serve hot with milk and sugar.
