Creamy Peanut Soup
Ingredients
- 1 cup peanuts, skin removed
- 1 pint milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Pound the peanuts into a smooth paste.
- 2 Scald the milk in a saucepan.
- 3 Melt butter and mix with flour to form a roux.
- 4 Slowly add the roux to the milk and peanut paste.
- 5 Cook until thickened and season to taste.
