Creamy Peanut Fudge
Ingredients
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Crisco
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped peanuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Method
- 1 Boil milk, sugar, Crisco, and salt until it forms a soft ball when tested in cold water, or reaches 240°F.
- 2 Remove from heat, add nuts and vanilla, and beat until creamy.
- 3 Pour into greased tins and let cool before cutting into cubes.
