Creamy Peach Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 cups peaches, peeled and mashed
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • few drops lemon or almond extract
  • 1 quart heavy cream

Method

  1. 1 Peel and mash peaches through a sieve to yield 2 cups.
  2. 2 Stir in sugar and a few drops of lemon or almond extract.
  3. 3 Let the fruit mixture stand for one hour.
  4. 4 Add the quart of cream and freeze according to your ice cream maker's instructions.
