Creamy Pea Soup With Onion And Parsley
Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked peas
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon grated onion
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Rub cooked peas through a sieve to create a smooth puree.
- 2 Dissolve cornstarch in water.
- 3 Add milk, dissolved cornstarch mixture, grated onion, and parsley to the pea puree.
- 4 Bring to a boil and cook for five minutes.
- 5 Season with salt and pepper and serve with croutons or toast.
