Creamy Paprika Beef Stew
Ingredients
- 1 pound lean stewing beef
- 1/2 cup onions
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 bouquet of soup herbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
- browned flour
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- finely chopped parsley
Method
- 1 Cut beef into pieces, place in a saucepan, cover with boiling water, and cook slowly until tender.
- 2 Add onions, diced carrot, and soup herbs to the pot.
- 3 Season with salt and paprika once the meat is tender.
- 4 Thicken the gravy with browned flour.
- 5 Stir in sour cream and garnish with finely chopped parsley before serving.
