Creamy Pan Fried Tomatoes
Ingredients
- tomatoes, halved if large or left whole
- 1/2 tbsp butter
- salt and pepper to taste
- flour for dusting
- 1/4 cup cream
Method
- 1 Wash tomatoes. Halve large ones or leave small ones whole without peeling.
- 2 Melt butter in a broad skillet. Season tomatoes with salt and pepper, then dust with flour.
- 3 Cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes, stirring once halfway through.
- 4 Pour in cream, bring to a boil, and serve immediately while hot.
