  • Allinson fine wheatmeal
  • pepper
  • salt
  • finely chopped parsley

Method

  1. 1 Boil or steam potatoes in their skins until soft, then peel and slice them.
  2. 2 Make a sauce by thickening milk with wheatmeal and seasoning with pepper and salt.
  3. 3 Simmer the sliced potatoes in the sauce for 10 minutes.
  4. 4 Before serving, mix a spoonful of finely chopped parsley into the sauce.
