Creamy Milk Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 small lump butter
  • Vanilla or other flavoring (optional)

Method

  1. 1 Combine sugar, milk, and butter in a saucepan. Cook for 15 minutes.
  2. 2 Set the pan in a cool place and let it cool until about half temperature.
  3. 3 Beat the mixture vigorously with a spoon until it becomes creamy.
  4. 4 Pour the fudge into a buttered pan and cut into squares while still warm.
