Method
- 1 Drain cooked potatoes when soft and steam dry over heat.
- 2 Pass potatoes through a masher back into the saucepan.
- 3 Add a piece of butter and a little hot milk.
- 4 Mash well over heat with a wooden spoon, adding more milk until thick and creamy.
