Creamy Green Pea Soup
Ingredients
- 1 quart milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon flour
- Green peas (with pods)
Method
- 1 Boil the pea pods in water, then remove them.
- 2 Add the peas to the same water and boil until soft enough to mash easily.
- 3 Mash the peas and stir in the milk.
- 4 Whisk butter and flour together to make a thickening, then stir into the soup.
- 5 Boil for a few minutes and serve.
