Creamy Curry Chicken With Lemon
Ingredients
- 2 chickens, skinned and prepared
- 1 ½ cups water
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 2 oz butter
- ¼ oz curry powder
- Salt to taste
- ¼ cup cream
- Juice of 2 lemons
- Boiled rice, for serving
Method
- 1 Stew the prepared chickens in 1 ½ cups water for 5 minutes. Strain, reserving the liquid.
- 2 Fry sliced onions in butter until golden. Add chickens and fry until browned.
- 3 Sprinkle with curry powder and salt. Pour in reserved chicken liquid and stew for 30 minutes.
- 4 Stir in cream and lemon juice. Serve hot over boiled dry rice.
