Creamy Curry Chicken With Lemon

Ingredients

  • 2 chickens, skinned and prepared
  • 1 ½ cups water
  • 3 large onions, sliced
  • 2 oz butter
  • ¼ oz curry powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ cup cream
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Boiled rice, for serving

Method

  1. 1 Stew the prepared chickens in 1 ½ cups water for 5 minutes. Strain, reserving the liquid.
  2. 2 Fry sliced onions in butter until golden. Add chickens and fry until browned.
  3. 3 Sprinkle with curry powder and salt. Pour in reserved chicken liquid and stew for 30 minutes.
  4. 4 Stir in cream and lemon juice. Serve hot over boiled dry rice.
