Creamy Cornmeal Porridge
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 cups water
- 4 cups milk
- cream and sugar for serving
Method
- 1 Make a batter with the cornmeal, flour, and cold water.
- 2 Pour the batter into boiling water and stir often.
- 3 Cook for 30 minutes or more.
- 4 Add boiling milk and cook for another 30 minutes, stirring often.
- 5 Serve hot or cold with cream and sugar.
