  • 4 large ears of corn
  • 4 cups milk
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon grated onion
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon finely minced parsley

Method

  1. 1 Scrape the pulp from four large ears of corn and rub through a sieve into a saucepan.
  2. 2 Add milk, flour, and grated onion. Stir to dissolve.
  3. 3 Bring to a boil and cook slowly for five minutes.
  4. 4 Season to taste and stir in butter and minced parsley.
