Creamy Coconut Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup grated fresh cocoanut
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. 1 Melt butter in a saucepan; add milk and sugar.
  2. 2 Stir until sugar is dissolved, heating slowly.
  3. 3 Boil for 12 to 15 minutes.
  4. 4 Remove from heat and add cocoanut and vanilla.
  5. 5 Beat until creamy, then pour into buttered tins and cool.
