Creamy Cinnamon Bread Pudding With Almond Paste
Ingredients
- 1 quart cream
- 1 penny white loaf (stale bread)
- 6 egg yolks
- 2 egg whites
- ½ ounce ground cinnamon
- Almond paste
- Rose water (optional)
- Salt
- Boiled currants (optional)
Method
- 1 Steep the penny white loaf in the cream along with the egg yolks, egg whites, cinnamon, and almond paste.
- 2 Add rose water, salt, and boiled currants if desired.
- 3 Bake or boil the mixture until set.
