Creamy Cinnamon Bread Pudding With Almond Paste

Ingredients

• 1 quart cream
• 1 penny white loaf (stale bread)
• 6 egg yolks
• 2 egg whites
• ½ ounce ground cinnamon
• Almond paste
• Rose water (optional)
• Salt
• Boiled currants (optional)

Method

1. 1 Steep the penny white loaf in the cream along with the egg yolks, egg whites, cinnamon, and almond paste.
2. 2 Add rose water, salt, and boiled currants if desired.
3. 3 Bake or boil the mixture until set.
