Creamy Chicken Fricassee With Nutmeg
Ingredients
- 1 chicken, cut into pieces
- Water to cover
- Thickening: milk, flour, and butter
- Parsley, thyme, pepper, and salt
- Nutmeg, grated
Method
- 1 Cut the chicken into pieces and place in a pot with just enough water to cover. Boil for 30 minutes.
- 2 Prepare a thickening by mixing milk, flour, and butter. Season with parsley, thyme, pepper, and salt.
- 3 Add the thickening to the pot and boil for a few minutes until thickened. Serve and grate nutmeg on top.
