Creamy Cheese And Corn Chowder

Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can cream-style corn
  • 1 1/2 cups non-fat milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or American cheese

Method

  1. 1 Combine potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, and pepper in a pan. Add 1 cup water, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. 2 Add the cream-style corn and cook for 5 more minutes until vegetables are tender.
  3. 3 Stir in the milk and cheese. Heat until the cheese melts and the chowder is warm. Do not boil.
