Creamy Celery Sauce With Mace And Nutmeg
Ingredients
- 1 large bunch celery
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 pinch mace
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
Method
- 1 Wash, pare, and finely chop the celery.
- 2 Boil the celery in water until tender, then drain.
- 3 Add cream, mace, nutmeg, and butter rolled in flour to the celery.
- 4 Simmer gently until the sauce thickens and is heated through.
