Creamy Carrot Potato And Onion Soup
Ingredients
- 1 carrot, cut up small
- 1 potato, cut up small
- 1 small onion, cut up small
- 1 pint water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- 1 Place the chopped carrot, potato, onion, and water in a saucepan. Cook until the vegetables are quite tender.
- 2 Rub the cooked vegetables through a sieve, adding a little water if necessary to reach desired consistency.
- 3 Return the mixture to the saucepan. Add butter, salt, and pepper. Boil up and serve.
