  • Salted water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Flour
  • Butter
  • Pinch of sugar
  • Grated nutmeg

Method

  1. 1 Cook the green peas in a minimal amount of salted water.
  2. 2 Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the peas.
  3. 3 Thicken the liquid with flour cooked in butter.
  4. 4 Stir in more butter, a pinch of sugar, and grated nutmeg.
