Creamy Bread Pudding With Sugar Topping
Ingredients
- 1 cup white bread crumbs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Butter for greasing dish
- Granulated sugar for topping
Method
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a baking dish.
- 2 Combine bread crumbs, flour, egg yolks, egg white, and cream. Mix until batter resembles thick pancake batter.
- 3 Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake until set and golden.
- 4 Remove from oven and sprinkle generously with sugar while hot.
